Head of Omnichannel Conversion

Frucon creates and manages the official online retail stores for global brands. The recruitment of Head of Omnichannel Conversion is an additional step towards gearing up the organization for growth.

As our Head of Omnichannel Conversion, you will have the unique opportunity to shape how we maximise omnichannel sales growth for the brands we work with. You will be working with a highly motivated team in an entrepreneurial, international and fast paced environment. Next to helping our clients define their omnichannel conversion strategy, you will be setting-up, operating and continuously improving all our processes that drive conversion for our clients. This means you will look after omnichannel marketing plans and tactics (SEO, SEA, email marketing…), conversion management, omnichannel merchandising, sales reporting and continuous optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Omnichannel marketing & conversion management
    • You will work closely with our clients to help them translate their omnichannel strategy to a practical and hands-on digital marketing plan
    • You plan, organise, manage, and analyse results of marketing programs and promotions across our client’s distribution channels. Driving O2O (online to offline) sales conversion has no secrets for you
    • You identify opportunities for our clients to drive sales and grow average order size through bundles, promotions, sampling and other key assortment drivers
    • You are a project management wizz. You manage all steps from building a marketing calendar to overseeing all of the contributions for digital marketing collateral
    • You advise our clients with Creative Marketing. From understanding user behavior, guiding the visuals that will sell, and generally pulling together a digital marketing plan
  • Omnichannel merchandising
    • You lead our omnichannel merchandising team who manage the presentation of the online assortment, including product information, category information and website merchandising. They also maintain site navigation, including creating and removing categories as needed based on merchandising and marketing strategies, merchant reporting and web analytics
    • You work with our teams and clients to:
      • Review onsite search behavior to gain an understating of keyword queries and manipulate the products within the search pages to drive conversion
      • Propose and monitor AB tests
      • Analyze sales and web metrics to make recommendations to clients about products and categories, web marketing and promotions
      • Request/create reports to support a better understanding of omnichannel sales
      • Monitor product recommendations for relevance; manage increased exposure or suppression of products
    • You ensure you understand the digital landscape for both the brands we work with and their competitors – building assortments and site merchandising to support demand creation and sell through
    • You work with our data and insights team to improve the overall customer experience and conversion. The strategies you define are supported by analysis of metrics, User/AB testing and current market trends
  • Team management
    • You lead, coach and inspire a team of more than 15 omnichannel marketeers and merchandisers tasked with bringing our clients assortments to life – leveraging digital tools to convert consumer demand
    • You continuously build and grow the team in line with our growth strategy

Qualifications

  • You have 8-10 years of experience in a fast-paced digital commerce environment, preferably with a global brand
  • You have a solid experience in managing online sales channels and driving profitable growth across them
  • Online marketing has no secrets for your and you have solid experience with email marketing, SEO, SEA, social media marketing and marketing automation tools
  • You can think about the future while driving success in the present with a hands-on approach and high-level of ownership
  • You have experience with ecommerce platforms, content management systems and Google analytics, with an ability to self-serve to draw insights for action. You have a data-driven approach to omnichannel merchandising
  • You have a passion for leadership and people development. You have successfully managed digital teams of 15+ people
  • You are an outstanding team leader & player with a positive attitude. You are proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • You are fluent in Dutch, French and English
  • You are communicative and have solid experience with internal and external stakeholder management
